The next morning Hannah set her morning alarm extra early. She checked herself in the mirror and then hurried into the shower. She tried to take a short one, but it was so hot a steamy, that she stood in the hot water for even longer than usual before hurriedly realizing that she really needed to just try and finish her homework. She hopped out and wrapped the cool fluffy pillow around her and then she went into her room to change. She just picked out a quick and easy outfit, a pair of American Eagle jeans and a white tank top. She would wear her Roxy blazer over it. It always worked for a quick fix.

The house next door to us had been empty for ages, the for sale sign had long since fallen over in the overgrown and unkempt front garden, and we had kind of got used to not having people over the fence, we could make a little more noise than most people which suited our growing family very well. We were more than a little annoyed, then, when one day a car arrived, and a very well groomed couple entered the house armed with buckets, mops, a vacuum cleaner and countless bottles of cleaning stuff. When Mark did come home he was so surprised to see Caty that he didn't speak for at least thirty seconds while a big smile broke across his face. He had then rushed across the grand foyer and given her a big bear hug and then told her he was so glad to see her.
